1. Do you book individuals and families for vacations or just groups and retreats?
Smoky Mountain Christian Village welcomes individuals, families, and groups. While all accommodations have kitchens, dining rooms, and living rooms, there are some with as few as one bedroom. Smoky Mountain Christian Village serves parties of 1 to 440!

2. Do you take last minute guests?
Absolutely! Call (866-997-0646) or walk in (2525 Goldrush Rd., Pigeon Forge 37863) the office door, and we’ll provide a fully equipped luxury “home away from home” in a beautiful wooded mountain setting for the price of a hotel room elsewhere – or less. Any time we have a vacancy, you are welcome to stay!

3. Why is Smoky Mountain Christian Village
called “the best place to stay for vacation?”

Guests who have stayed with us before would tell you that there are always nice folks around and a serene feeling throughout the place. All of our accommodations evoke the peaceful, natural essence of the mountains while being around-the-corner convenient to all of the local attractions (you can find more information in the “Area Attractions” section of the website). We offer the convenient option of a fine evening out with a show or the option to cook an inexpensive favorite meal, wash clothes, or take a swim and a nature walk. When you're finished being a tourist, the Village offers all-the-comforts-of-home for a relaxing evening. Hotels on noisy thoroughfares or far-off cabins can’t compete with Smoky Mountain Christian Village for serenity, convenience, comfort, and value.

4. Are there minimum or maximum stay limits?
There are no maximum limits, however; the minimum stay is two nights. Because chalets are so large and include kitchens, living, and dining areas, two nights are needed to cover the cost of cleaning fees and operations.

5. When can we check in?
Check in is 3:00 PM, and check out is 11:00 AM.

6. Should I call to make reservations (866-997-0646) or book my stay at Smoky Mountain Christian Village on-line?
Some guests prefer to explore the layout of chalets and then call for reservations, while others like to do the whole transaction online. It is a matter of preference; however, our guest services operators are very helpful when deciding which chalet, or combination, would be best for you. Also, chalets 12 and 13 are only available through guest services to ensure that both families and very large groups are most conveniently housed.

7. Is my credit card number protected if I book online?
Yes, Smoky Mountain Christian Village uses a secure server that encrypts credit card information.

8. What is the closest airport to Smoky Mountain Christian Village?
McGhee Tyson Airport, which serves the metropolitan Knoxville area, is the closest. For directions click here

9. What are the office hours of operation? What if I need to arrive after hours?
The office is open for check ins and calls Monday - Thursday 9 AM - 6 PM , Friday 9am - 8pm, Saturday 9am -12pm and closed Sunday . After hours arrivals are no problem – just let guest services (866-997-0604) know you plan to arrive after the office is closed, and special arrangements can easily be made for you. FYI, we are located in the Eastern Standard Time zone.

10. What types of payment do you accept?
For internet booking, full credit card payment may be made using any major credit card (Master Card, Visa, Discover, or American Express). Smoky Mountain Christian Village uses a secure server for encrypts credit card information for your safety.

Guests who call guest services for reservations (866-997-0646) have two additional options: Payment by check
Reservations that may be held by a deposit equal to the deposit of one-night’s stay, plus tax. The remainder is due no later than 60 days before arrival, and may be paid by credit card or by mailing in a check.

11. What if I need to cancel a reservation I made online?
Could I get any money back on my credit card?

Sometimes things happen, and we understand. Refunds will be made according to the follow ing schedule:
Refunds will not be given due to decrease in group/chalet size within 60 days of the contracted arrival date, or for any group checking in after their contracted arrival date, or checking out before their scheduled departure date. No refunds will be made in the event a person is required to vacate the premises because of disruptive conduct or failure to follow rental guidelines and/or policies.10% of monies paid will be non refundable due to administrative costs.
Outside 90 Days before your arrival date: 90% refund of monies paid.
Outside 60 days before your arrival date: 50% refund of monies paid.
100% of monies paid may be applied to gift certificate to be used w ithin one year of issuance.
Within 60 days of your arrival date: No refund of monies paid.
*No refund of monies paid if reservation w as made under any pay now specials*

12. Since the accommodations are fully equipped, what do
we need to bring with us?

Smoky Mountain Christian Village provides bedding, towels, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. There are also washer/dryer combos, irons/boards, microwaves, dishwashers, entertainment centers, and coffee pots. Consumable items are provided in a “starter pack” that will be adequate for the first night. For longer stays, guests may want to bring, or purchase locally, coffee, tissue paper, dishwasher detergent, and bath soap. If guests wish to wash clothes or swim, detergent and beach towels are suggested.

13. Why does Smoky Mountain Christian Village not allow pets or indoor smoking?
Pets and indoor smoking cause allergies in some people, so out of respect for other guests these are not allowed.

14. Are you open for Christmas?
Yes. We are open for all holidays. Christmas is a lovely time to come, and your whole extended family can celebrate in one of our large chalets – under one roof with multiple bedrooms or as “neighbors” if you prefer. Each chalet has its own cozy gas fireplace and a decorated Christmas tree. With fully equipped kitchens, guests can even enjoy traditional home- cooked family meals together. Hint: You won’t believe the holiday lights of Pigeon Forge and the special Christmas shows. A Smoky Mountain Christmas at the Village will make family memories to treasure for a life time.

15. Can group leaders arrange for site tours?
Yes. Site tours are available upon request during regular business hours.
