Reservations/Front Desk Clerk

Smoky Mountain Christian Village is now accepting applications for a Reservations/Front Desk Clerk. Duties will include, but will not be limited to: making chalet reservations, providing exceptional customer service, checking in guests, and performing general office duties. Skills required are a working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel, excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have good organizational skills.

HOUSEKEEPING

Washing and folding laundry, part time pay and may not work every week.

CAMP STAFFING (SUMMER/SEASONAL)

Wilderness Camp Counselor (Males only)

Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper. The Counselor is responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities and guiding campers in their personal/spiritual growth and daily living skills.

Teen Resident Camp- Resident/Program Assistant (1 Male, 1 Female)

Resident/Program Assistants are responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness of their individual lodge. The Resident Assistants are responsible for planning, coordinating, and carrying out large group activities on camp property. Including but not limited to; facilitating the ropes course, large group games like big ball volleyball, assisting with paintball as needed, and assisting church group leaders as necessary.

Camp Secretary

Camp Secretary is responsible for overall camp check in paperwork, payments of campers/church groups, answering phones for camper related questions and minor printing. Applicant must be familiar with creating Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. Also, should be detail oriented and display a high level of organizational skills. *All applicants must be 18 years old or older and we prefer one year of college experience.
